[Abstract] The report on Globalization and International Exhibition Industry Development: A Comparative Study focuses on interdisciplinary integration and makes objective and concrete comparisons on the experience of global exhibition powers and development paths of China's exhibition industry based on the nature and development needs of the exhibition industry. It captures the key issue of inadequate marketization coexisting with excessive marketization that restricts the development of China's exhibition industry, conducts in-depth research on ways, means and paths of organic combination of market mechanisms and government regulation, and explores theoretical innovation and spatial pioneering for building an exhibition power from aspects like strategic integration, policy environment, model optimization, main body cultivation, and industrial form innovation. The research proposes that "exhibition is an on-site gathering-based communication service", "the rise of powers and comprehensive national strength competition almost invariably rely on exhibition tools", "the current situation of Europe-America dominance and German superiority will continue, while the Chinese model is taking shape", "dual-line integration is an important trend in exhibition industry development", "coexistence of inadequate and excessive marketization is the main issue facing China's exhibition industry", and other important viewpoints.
