Shanghai Exhibition Industry Association currently has nearly 600 effective members, covering almost the entire industrial chain including exhibition organizers, exhibition center operators, exhibition design, engineering and construction, exhibition media, advertising, consulting, education and training, conference organization, exhibition tourism, event planning, etc. The association joined the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) in 2012 as a formal member, and was awarded the title of "China Social Organization Class AAAA" by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in the same year. 2014 was a crucial year for Shanghai to achieve the "12th Five-Year Plan" goals. Under the leadership and care of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Government, Shanghai's exhibition industry maintained steady growth at 7%.
